what we do


Welcome to our page. This is probably going to be the most non-conventional consulting website you will ever visit. What we do is simple. We post marketing tips for free based on the things we have learned over time. Use them anyway you can. If they work, all we ask is you drop us an email to let us know that they tips we are giving out are providing value. TIP #1: Everybody Lies


The reason why this tip is so important to remember is because often times when we are trying to sell our product or service, we keep asking the customer for their opinion. Really, not just the customer. We keep asking anyone who will listen to us what they think of our product or service. Here is the problem. Everybody lies. I should also add it’s no malicious. It’s just that we as people have a hard time knowing what the true answer is, and instead of admitting that we don’t know we try to make something up that sounds like it might work or might be true.

The truth is, when it comes to marketing your business you are going to have to figure it out. Your customers are not going to tell you what works, because they honestly don’t know the answer. You’ll spend a lot of time and money trying the very things the said they would want only to bang your head in frustration that none of it is working. In order to sell on a large scale, you have to observe what people do. There are plenty of signals dropped daily on what people really believe and think. There is plenty of evidence out there about what gets people taking vs what they will ignore. It is up to you to take this information and create something out of it that will light a fire within the market.

TIP #2: Do Something Worth Noticing


It amazes us how many business and companies still do the same standard thing over and over and wonder why they aren’t getting incredible results. The average is the average. Plain and simple. If you want to get noticed you have to be willing to do something worth getting noticed. Now that doesn’t mean you have to be shocking, although that is an option. It just means you have to try something different.

Whether you want to be funny, outrageous, secretive, etc… it doesn’t matter. There is something in your business that if you dig deep enough you know makes you different. Take that thing and put it out there. Take a few risks. Get people talking. Old school ads and everything like that, that’s for businesses that have already been established for a long time. If you are new to this game what you need is publicity, and publicity only comes to those who are willing to push things a little bit.

TIP #3: Marketing Messages Shouldn't Feel Like Marketing


One of the big barriers to getting people to listen to your marketing messages is that for some reason when people think you are trying to sell them something they completely shut down. No one really knows when the turning point was. All we know is that at some point people began to think that a sales pitch was something to avoid like the plague and if someone was trying to sell you something then that means they were trying to con you out of money. Didn’t matter if you were coming with the best of intentions and ethics. The moment someone feels the pitch is on, they tune out.

So the trick for you is to figure out how to make your marketing message not feel like a sales pitch. There are many different techniques. Things like making your marketing funny, telling a story, giving education, etc… whatever path you choose you’ll know it when it works as people will respond very will to it and be more than willing to not only engage with it but also spread it for you. You will have to go through a lot of trial and error to see what works. That’s ok though because that’s half the fun. As long as you make the message easy to consume, you’ll find yourself getting the success you want.
